Win4Lin allows you to configure a working environment for your DOS and Windows sessions. From this initial WinSetup window, you can select the configuration category and then press the OK button. (For more detailed information about each of these categories, use the help button in the window that pops up when you select the category.)
There are three general configuration categories:
Use this category to set up or review the aspects of Win4Lin that apply to all Win4Lin users. Examples: Managing device definitions and loading the Windows installation CD.
Use this category to install Microsoft Windows for your own use.
You have at least two of these configurations: dos and win. They are the default configurations for your DOS and Windows sessions respectively. Each configuration details all characteristics of the environment created when your DOS or Windows session runs.
Select one of the Personal Session Configurations and click on the OK button to bring up the Personal Session Configuration window. Use this window to view or change that configuration. You can also create new personal configurations that are different from the standard dos and win configurations. When you do, they will appear on the list below dos and win.
