Token Names

A token is the name by which NeTraverse Win4Lin Terminal Server uniquely identifies a device.

Use this window to specify the token for a direct or virtual attach device.

1. In the Token Name text box, type the token name for the new device definition.

   The name can contain up to 12 characters consisting of the letters A-Z (upper and lower case), the digits 0-9, and the hyphen (-). Token names must be unique.

2. Select one of the following options:

   Direct Attach

   Specifies that this token is for a direct attach device.

   Virtual Attach

   Specifies that this token is for a virtual attach device.

3. Click OK.
