Interface DeviceListener

All Superinterfaces:
ProvAPIEventListener
All Known Implementing Classes:
DeviceAdapter

public interface DeviceListener
extends ProvAPIEventListener

The Listener interface for device events. The addDeviceListener method on the PACEConnection instance may be used to register DeviceListener instances.

Sample Usage:

      // Implement DeviceListener interface
      public class MyDeviceListener implements  DeviceListener
      {
          ...
      }

      // Create an instance of DeviceEventQualifier
      myQualifier = new DeviceEventQualifier();
      // We need to get an event when ever a new device is added
      // [You may also use an instance of QualifyAll
      // that performs no filtering.]
      myQualifier.setNewDevice();

      // Register device listener using PACEConnection
      ...
      conn.addDeviceListener(
          new MyDeviceListener(), // BatchListener
          myQualifier // Qualifier
          );
       ...
