Field Detail

DEFAULT_DEVICE_TYPE

static final String DEFAULT_DEVICE_TYPE

Establishes a default device type for use by the default device detection extension. If the extension is unable to determine the type of a device, the extension will default to the type specified by this property. If conflict checking is enabled, the extension will log a warning if the default type conflicts with the detection information the extension gathered. If the default type conflicts, and use of conflicting information is enabled, then the extension will use the default type as the detected type, otherwise the extension will report it was unable to determine the device type. By default this property is set to the empty string. To establish a default device type this property must be set to the name of a device type to use as the default.

DEFAULT_COS_PREFIX

static final String DEFAULT_COS_PREFIX

The Default Class Of Service name prefix. The default indirection class of service for all the technologies starts with this prefix. This prefix is for internal use and you are not allowed to create new classes of service with this prefix.

All the unprovisioned devices and the devices created with null class of service will be automatically assigned to this class of service.

If a device has default indirection class of service for the correspodning technology then the configuration generation RDU extension will retrieve default class of service from corresponding technology defaults and uses it for generating device configuration.

The Default Class Of Service/DHCP Criteria name prefix. The default indirection Class of Service/DHCP Criteria for all the technologies starts with this prefix. This prefix is for internal use and you are not allowed to create new Classes of Service or DHCP Criteria with this prefix.
