Serializable

public class CableHomeException
extends com.cisco.provisioning.cpe.BaseRuntimeException

This exception is thrown when a device configuration for a CableHome device can not be created.

BPR supports an incremental upgrade from previous versions, to avoid requiring all BPR servers be upgraded to at once. This requires the RDU to generate device configurations that are compatible with servers running older versions of BPR until all servers in a provisioning group have been upgraded.

But in the case of CableHome, it is not possible to create a compatible device configuration if servers running a version of BPR before 2.6 are present in the provisioning group as versions before 2.6 are not capable of supporting CableHome devices. This exception may be thrown to indicate BPR servers must be upgraded before CableHome devices can be supported.
