PC-GEOS v1.0 (French) - Released by BAD AiR ABANDONWARE in February of 2000
 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------

This one took *forever* to locate, but now that we have it - so can you!
This extremely rare operating system is in French, but is very simple to
figure out no matter what language you speak. Runs on XT+, but requires
a mouse (and XT's usually shudder at the sight of them, so we recommend
at least a 286 for this little gem). Also called "GEOS Ensemble", this
operating system was doomed to death until New Deal wrapped its loving
arms around it and gave it a new name, "New Deal School Suite". So, GEOS
is still alive today, and the latest version can be purchased at their
  website... http://newdealinc.com/

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS (for those of you who are a little slow)...

        1. Format four (4) 1.44mb floppies.

        2. Install each zipped disk file to a disk as follows:
                (Example): PKUNZIP -D DISKx.ZIP A:

        3. Once all four disks have been made, insert the first
disk and execute the SETUP.EXE which will take off
installing the operating system. PC-GEOS will not take
place of DOS, Windows, or any other operating system
you might currently have installed. In fact, it will
not affect them at all unless you tell it to.

NOTE: If your system is currently running under Windows 95/98,
check the included GEOSFAQ1.TXT for help with getting
              PC-GEOS running under Win95/98.

If your system is currently running under MS-DOS 6,
check the included DOS6.TXT for help with getting
              PC-GEOS running under MS-DOS 6.
