Multiple Commands

Index

Syntax

To enter multiple commands on a single command line:

Command1 ^T Command2 [^T Command3 ...]

Where:
CommandA valid Dos command
^TCtrl-T. This is represented by a symbol depending on the Code Page in use - in my case (Code Page 850) it is ¶

Notes

Spaces are allowed, but not required, before/after the ^T. The number of commands that can be linked this way is limited only in that the total command line cannot be more than 127 characters. Commands can contain pipes/redirection This procedure will not work in batch files - the ^T is seen as a parameter which is either ignored or causes an error, depending on the command.
