In order to manage customers or providers, you must add them to NNM's database using
the ovcustomer utility. Refer to the online manual Configuring
Customer-specific Network Management for instructions on using ovcustomer.
You can also use the ovcustomer manpage (reference page).
Once you have added customers and providers to NNM's database, you can manage them through the web interface. The tasks you can perform include:
You can view all the customers associated with a specific network resources.
Associations are made using the ovcustomer utility. This task is
useful for identifying which organizations are affected by network problems. This task is
also useful when troubleshooting the node or interface.
Organizations from the Configuration
menu, then choose Associated Organizations. The Organizations
Associated with Network Resources box appears. For the selected node or interface, the dialog box lists the following information:
If you did not select a node or interface object before running this command, you can
type the name of the node or interface object in the Resource field of
this box. Then press the Find Organizations button.
You can view all the network resources that are associated with a specific customer.
Associations are made using the ovcustomer utility.
