EV_deleteValue

- Delete the given attribute value object

int32 EV_deleteValue(EV_AttrValue *attr); 

DESCRIPTION

If the attribute value object is of type EV_STRING, EV_OID, EV_ANY or EV_TUPLE, then the storage allocated to the value will be deleted as well. If it is of type EV_LIST, each component will be deleted. Values of type EV_STRING_REF and EV_LIST_REF do not have their components deleted. EV_EVENT and EV_OPAQUE types need to be deallocated outside of the value; the pointer in here will be ignored.

Parameters

The attribute object to delete.

RETURNS

ECS_SUCCESS

Value deleted.

ECS_FREE_FAIL

Memory free failed.
