DESCRIPTION

This function is used to send an annotation response to a correlation engine over an already open annotation connection. With an annoResponse value of zero, this function is used to free resources without sending a response, for example, after an error.

Parameters

const ANNO_ConnectionId annoId

The annotation connection ID of the connection on which the corresponding annotation request was received.

ANNO_RequestId requestId

The request ID of the corresponding annotation request for which this is the response.

EV_AttrValue *annoResponse

The annotation response arguments. This is an EV_AttrValue of type EV_LIST. If zero is specified, resources associated with the annotation request are deallocated, but no response is sent to the correlation engine.

RETURNS

ECS_SUCCESS

Succeeded.

ECS_BAD_PARAMETER

Invalid arguments to function.

ECS_ERROR

Other error.

ANNO_NOT_INITIALISED

ANNO_stackInit has not been called. ANNO_BAD_CONNECTION

The specified annotation connection is not open. ESOK_COMMUNICATION_ERROR

The engine isn't running or can't be communicated with.
