Annotation Value Types

The following table details the data types that can be stored in an EV_AttrValue. The annotation server accesses these values (via EV_extractElement() and EV_parseFormatedValue()) as C data types. The designer of the correlation circuit accesses the values as ECDL data types.

The designer of the correlation circuit and the designer of the annotation server will need to agree on what annotation data is to be transferred between the engine and the annotation server.
