• disabled - "switched off". This is the initial state of a circuit.

• input enabled - accepting and correlating events but output is disabled.

• output enabled - correlating and outputting events, but not accepting any new events.,

• fully enabled - capable of accepting, correlating and outputting events.

Unless the -stream parameter is provided all commands enable and disable correlation circuits on the default stream only.
