HISTORY (sorted by date in reverse order)
          -----------------------------------------
07.12.99
	- New coding scheme, Mac coding always has priority.

Generally one can say that TTFs are the worst implemented fonts.
Virtually no one adheres to the specification (which isn't much
	use anyway).

	New beta
---------------------------------------------------------------------
06.12.99
	- Almost every other font is missing important tables :-(
	- The TTF importer now also supports Mac coding, naturally even
	  that is missing at times.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
04.12.99
	- The kerning information of some fonts are rubbish, e.g. it simply
makes no sense to establlish some 100 times the kerning between
space and space with various values.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
03.12.99
	- Arial Black is now loaded mangled, don't ask me why ...
---------------------------------------------------------------------
02.12.99
	- With some fonts (e.g. frestysb.ttf and griffonn.ttf) the OS2
table is missing; the TTF importer can also live without it if
	  necessary.
	- Some fonts don't let themselves be recognized as TTF fonts
	  whatever you do (e.g. cgposter.ttf and cgtime.ttf)
---------------------------------------------------------------------
01.12.99
	- Now there are no problems with Type 1 import any more.
